How to Piss Me Off in Four Words.

Have you ever asked someone when they are having a baby? 
Or have you insinuated that because a couple is now married the next logical step is to have a baby?

Well if you have, you're an ass. 

I had this happen for the first time last night...

Recently I got married and we now have a blended family. I have one child and my husband has two. We have talked about the idea of having more kids but it's not something we are pursuing.
Mostly because it would cost around $8000.00 to get a vasectomy reversal done. Not that anyone needs to know that... But if you come at me and ask, "So are you pregnant yet?" Or "When are you getting pregnant?" 

I might get a little mad... 

You don't have a right to ask anyone that question.

The part that really infuriated me was that this wasn't in private, it was in a room full of people and at a table full of people. From a woman! 

How does one act and respond to a question like that?

Well I used humour to try and defuse the conversation, but fuck!

That's my rant for the night...

Be better humans.

Wow it has been a year since I have written a blog post. A whole bunch of things have changed.. I am in a better place mentally, physically, emotionally, just everything. Things do get better but it is hard! Just when you're not expecting it...

The Past Can Creep In At Anytime

So in my last blog I eluded to the fact that I had dealt with some pretty strong PTSD.  I honestly didn't even see it coming.  So I have to take you back a little bit if you want to know how it all started.. I have gone through a pretty difficult separation with lawyers and judges and courts and police and evidence and documents. I don't need to get into specifics but let's just say it took 3-4 years before the truth exposed itself and I got full custody.  Now the ex I am referring to has a 'mother' that was somewhat of a handful.. She couldn't be trusted when I and the ex were together let alone after. She had a serious drug problem mixed with anger issues and a full-on "woe is me complex". The 'mother' was cut out of my life before the ex and I even split because of domestic assault issues with her.
