Catching Up
I wanted to stop in and write, catch up on what's happening in my life and see where everyone's at.
Covid-19 is still present in our communities and some people are dealing with it better than others.
The need to get vaccinated to be able to go into specific business and the need to get vaccinated for some people to be able to continue to have their job has caused a lot of stress on people in their lives, and also on the economy.
I personally have family members that chose not to get vaccinated and now they are unable to do some things that they would typically do in their life. It is unfortunate but that is how things are working out right now and I only hope that they either don't get sick or if they do get sick that they don't pass away.
I feel the stress of the economy now more than I ever have as the price of groceries and gasoline keep increasing wages don't seem to increase and the demands in life are always increasing causing a lot of stress on people financially, personally, and mentally.
To even be able to think about owning a house at this point in time is a crazy thought and really to have a down payment for a house a person needs to be able to make x dollars in a year I don't think it will be in my near future owning a house again. When buyng groceries right now it is an a huge undertaking as you can't go into a grocery store and spend under $200 to buy food and feed a family of 3 for a week to 2 weeks without you know needing to spend more than 200 and that's not buying anything excessive that's like chicken and ground beef.
Anyhow it is what it is and life continues and you just may try to make ends meet as much as you can.
In my personal life I am engaged, obviously you know that already, or not.. But I decided to do a smaller wedding. The date is set for October of 2022. I purchased my wedding dress a couple of days ago and told myself I was going to spend under $200 and so far I have done that. We'll see what it looks like when the dress arrives, I took a chance and bought it online.
Everything with my kid is going good and everything in the home life is pretty decent. Financial strains are always an issue but hopefully things will start looking up in the future. Mine and Oliver's birthdays have come and gone and now I look forward to four more birthdays in November. My mom, my grandma, my fiance, an one really good friend.
I hope the weather will stay nice for a while it is the day before Halloween and there is no snow. That is odd for us here. So maybe we will have a mild winter? But I doubt it.
I have a story I want to share about PTSD but that is another blog for another day.
Stay safe everyone and have a happy Halloween tomorrow. 🎃
