It's Been a While...

Wow it has been a year since I have written a blog post. A whole bunch of things have changed.. I am in a better place mentally, physically, emotionally, just everything. Things do get better but it is hard! A little bit of a recap of 2022 -got married -continued to work hard for my goals -moved back in the morning show slot at work -started a very casual sub position at my son's school -we lost cats and got new cats -i traded my car in for a different one -spent time with my friends and family I am excited for what 2023 will bring. I will try to write more often too! Thanks for following my journey!

Just when you're not expecting it...

I saw this on social media and I know I haven't given a life update recently it's been a while but due to court papers I cannot disclose information. The Past Can Creep In At Anytime

So in my last blog I eluded to the fact that I had dealt with some pretty strong PTSD.  I honestly didn't even see it coming.  So I have to take you back a little bit if you want to know how it all started.. I have gone through a pretty difficult separation with lawyers and judges and courts and police and evidence and documents. I don't need to get into specifics but let's just say it took 3-4 years before the truth exposed itself and I got full custody.  Now the ex I am referring to has a 'mother' that was somewhat of a handful.. She couldn't be trusted when I and the ex were together let alone after. She had a serious drug problem mixed with anger issues and a full-on "woe is me complex". The 'mother' was cut out of my life before the ex and I even split because of domestic assault issues with her.
